The Library

This page will be an ongoing labor of love in the form of a list. The articles, podcast episodes, mixes, etc., etc., that have captivated the K.M.A.N. staff’s attention. Organized chronologically, at the moment (or nearly so) when each piece captured our heart(s).

1. “Dancing About Architecture,” an essay by Arthur Phillips in issue 64 of The Believer (2009). He explores the seeming futility of writing about music and comes out the other side cautiously optimistic, if I remember correctly. I should probably reread it now. - RM

2. Brian Eno’s interview with Rick Rubin as part of the Broken Record podcast. A few of us like this one. Eno is just so damn smart about everything. It’s an inspiration. - RM

3. Dream Chimney’s Track of the Day. I highly recommend this deep dive into heady, baelearic tuneage. Found it years ago in my blogging days and still consult it. Gems aplenty in the archives. - RM
